Founded in 1946
R. D. Howard, LLC was originally founded in 1946 by Leroy Howard as a Cement Contracting Company. The original name of the company was Leroy Howard Cement Contractor. After years of hard work, discipline and an adjustment in it's business focus, the company named changed to Howard Construction Co. and maintained its focus on providing quality concrete service.
With the aid of his youngest son, Randle who had recently graduated from Southwest Texas State University, Leroy Howard redefined the scope of his business once again. Armed with more than 50 years of practical experience and two degrees- one in Business and the other in Marketing, the Howard men were ready for the competitive world of construction.
Soon after this union, Randle Howard took on the role of CEO and is proud to serve in his father's footsteps.
The company is now known as R. D. Howard, LLC and has expanded the vision of the late Mr. Leroy Howard to include various aspects of construction.
The company has celebrated more than 60 years of serving the community of Fort Worth, Texas and beyond with its first rate service committment.
It is the goal of R. D. Howard to provide quality, professional service at a fair price, and provide for a safe, productive work environment.
Today, R.D. Howard serves as the primary contractor or sub contractor on some of the most memorable projects in the D/FW metroplex and throughout North Central Texas.
